Q. Will I be able to cope with the class level?
A. Yes. All the classes are low to moderate impact, and you can go at your own pace. There is no need to undertake any of the exercises you do not wish to do.
Q. Can I talk it over with you first?
A. Certainly. Call me! Or if you prefer, email your queries.
Q. What do I need to bring to class?
A. For Pilates, bring an exercise mat. For all classes, bring some water and wear comfortable, adjustable clothing and supportive shoes.
Q. Must I commit to a course or set series of classes?
A. No, all classes can be taken on a pay-as-you-go basis, with the exception of the Nordic Walking Beginners course, which runs for four consecutive weeks.
Q. Will I get slimmer?
A. You might - that depends on you! But you will certainly get fitter.
Q. I am young and very fit already. Will I get a really powerful, sustained high-impact workout that will make me sweat?
A. No! These are not the classes for you.
Q. Can children attend?
A. No, the minimum age is 16 for all classes.
Q. Are you a qualified instructor?
A. Yes, I have an MSc in Training and Development and am qualified to teach Dance Fitness, Exercise and Nordic Walking, including classes for older and less mobile populations. I am on the Register of Exercise Professionals and a member of the Institute for Learning and the Foundation for Community Dance, as well as Director of Associated Tap Dancers.
